Judges from the marine-electronics industry and a national boating-writers group revealed their picks last week for the top 2013 products in 10 categories from fish finders to software. The National Marine Electronics Association presented the awards during its annual conference, which ended Sept. 27 in San Diego, California. NMEA regional committees selected 50 industry judges to determine nine category winners. Three judges from Boating Writers International selected the final category winners for that group’s annual Technology Award.
